The next version of Ubuntu, dubbed "Jaunty Jackalope," just entered its beta stage just last week.
Ubuntu 9.04, as it is more properly known, includes some enhancements like a notification system, improvements to the start-up process, and its first foray to cloud computing.
It also has new updates to the Gnome interface, the Linux kernel, and the X.Org server.
