Among the major operating software systems in the market, Linux is the most supportive of 64-bit processors, largely due to its open nature. However, the usage of some 64-bit features like Firefox is limited due to the unavailability of a 64-bit Flash player. Open source operating systems have been providing many users with a better file and database management. They are a good alternative and can compete up against the monopoly and imperialism of popular commercial brand's. There are a handful of open source operating systems and one of them is Ubuntu. Ubuntu has already released Ubuntu 2.10, a latest release which is now available at the Ubuntu website.
