Some distribution run a caching nameserver although this don't happen all the time. To clean the cache if you have a daemon running such, you could just restart the nscd service and your cache is clean and go to go.Read more: Clear DNS Cache in Ubuntu [click]

One issue that users faced with Google Chrome is its incompatibility with Linux.
